LungLeavin’ Day

Yesterday I received a request to share a special event. It is happening on February 2 so it’s important to get the word out quickly. It’s called LungLeavin’ Day.

It’s a special day for a family that I have not met, but have a distant connection with. Lung Cancer. I lost my best friend, my father, uncles, and cousins to different forms of lung cancer. I also celebrate another cousin who is 5 year lung cancer free.

Cameron Von St. James emailed me with a video link which tells his wife Heather’s story. I have chosen to pass this along in the hopes that others will do the same. They have taken what could have been a tragic event and turned it into a yearly celebration.

Please take a few minutes to listen to Heather’s story and celebrate LungLeavin’ Day on February 2

Remember to share

About ramblinann

I live in Massachusetts and always have. My family continues to grow with the addition of many grandchildren, who steal my heart every time I see them. Recently I was able to check off an item on my bucket list and earn my Associate Degree in Complementary Healthcare, but usually, I can be found sitting behind the wheel of a big yellow school bus. I love to write, though there seems to be some missing connection between my thoughts and the ability of my fingers to put those thoughts on paper, or the screen in this case.
