Sappy Love Poems

Are you ready? I am not going to change the wording on any of these goofy things.  Keep in mind the person writing this was a love-sick young girl who thought great poetry meant rhyming every line.

Number One

Now that your gone
I’m as low as can be
Please won’t you come back
Won’t you come back to me

I loved you then
I love you now
Got to get you off my mind
Just wish that I knew how

Number Two

Light as a feather
Free as a dove
That’s how I felt
When I had you love

Are you gone for good
Or just for a while
I wish I’d hear from you
To bring back my smile

Hallmark moment or country song?  The second starts out sounding like Mohammad Ali.  Yes this stuff I have to claim as all mine.

About ramblinann

I live in Massachusetts and always have. My family continues to grow with the addition of many grandchildren, who steal my heart every time I see them. Recently I was able to check off an item on my bucket list and earn my Associate Degree in Complementary Healthcare, but usually, I can be found sitting behind the wheel of a big yellow school bus. I love to write, though there seems to be some missing connection between my thoughts and the ability of my fingers to put those thoughts on paper, or the screen in this case.

I love them both, but Number One rings so true. Thank you for sharing them with us!
