We’re Still Here

So it took the end of the world to get me off my butt and write some of my other princess story.  I did not finish the whole rough draft, but I did get a good chunk done.  It’s not very long.  That’s ok. My goal was to get a rough draft done before the world ended.  My goal this week, since we are still here, will be to decipher what I actually wrote out long hand.  YIKES!

I also started looking for my fifth grade teacher, Mrs Thomas.  I thought I might hav se found her but then the name and address was gone.  How does that happen? I will work on that some time over vacation week.

Today I have my husband and one of my sons helping me move the “crap” out of my mother’s. I know she is nervous about us throwing all her stuff away.  I am not doing that. I called the storage place around the corner.  They charge $50 a month for a 5×10. Everything should fit.  Over the winter we can make a trip around the corner and grab a box or two.  Sifting through $*&^ is always what I wanted to do during a Nor’easter.  NOT

Wish the ole man and I would have thought to bring some wood in the house to dry.  Now that I don’t have to be up before dawn we could have sat out back and had a fire at night. Burn some of her mess and mine.  I’ll try to remember to bring some in before we go move today.

AAGGGGHHH just remembered I don’t have a dolly to move the heavy stuff.  Yea I have a strong son, but it would make things so much easier if he had a dolly to wheel three or four heavy things out at once.   Alright enough slacking for today.  Time to get the day started.
