Wow all the times I sat in front of the computer and could not think of a thing to write. Now that I don’t have the internet at my finger tips I am suffering from some major DT’s. They are so bad that I have to take the few moments I have left with internet access and come here.
Most of you who were reading my ramblins may have forgotten me. That’s ok. Right now I would love to be forgotten for just a day or two. I could sink into a comfy chair, eat chips, have a Twisted Tea, and read. Not likely to happen, but a person can dream.
To update the last couple of weeks; I am having fun being Nonni. Nolan has come for a couple of bus rides and done wonderful. He managed to keep some of the kids entertained, and vise versa.
The countdown is on for Taylah’s arrival. Only a few more weeks and my first granddaughter will be born. I am starting to get nervous again. It’s a beautiful thing, pregnancy and childbirth, but it sure aint pretty. I’m prayin things go smooth and quick for my daughter. No mother likes to see her baby in pain even when it means bringing a new baby into this world.
Work has been moving along. I haven’t decked anyone though the thought has crossed my mind. This year I am letting the drivers do their thing (almost). There are so many problems with budgets that people in admin are freakin out causing more problems than need be. Luckily I have the best boss in the world and even though she is the most soft-spoken person I know she gets the job done. I am trying to learn from her so I don’t deck someone.
Fall has hit. The leaves are changed, they continuously fall all over my yard and into the deflated swimming pool that I can’t seem to get dried and packed away. This stupid little pool has been a major pain in the butt and I think I only had time to jump in twice this summer. I better become a fish by next summer so I can live in it.
That about covers things. It’s almost time to get packed up and go back to work. Baby Nolan is still napping which was helpful to me, but probably not so good for Mommy who will have him awake all afternoon. Well at least I emptied the dishwasher and put all the dirty dishes in. That is one less thing she has to do today.
I’m off to the big yellow bus. I hope this afternoon goes by quickly and I can go home and get into my jammies.
