Moths

The beauty of early morning is sometimes right outside your door.  We were visited by all six of these in one night.  When I stepped outside and realized there were so many different kinds of moths hanging out, I got excited. I had to take pictures.  Sorry some are blurry.  My camera is not the best and I am not a professional.

My favorites are the Lunar Moth and the one that reminds me of Batman.  That would be #3, the one trying to hide in the corner.

One other morning there was a white one with black designs on his back.  Absolutely gorgeous as far as moth beauty goes.  The pictures didn’t do show the detail of his markings so I will try to get others if he comes to visit again.

Most mornings there are some pretty pink and green ones hanging around.  They are either a later season moth or thought it was too crowed that morning.  Who knows.  If they come around I’ll get some pics of them too.  They are very pretty.

That will become my summer title.  Ramblin Ann, undercover moth detective.   Hmm is there a career change in my future?

About ramblinann

I live in Massachusetts and always have. My family continues to grow with the addition of many grandchildren, who steal my heart every time I see them. Recently I was able to check off an item on my bucket list and earn my Associate Degree in Complementary Healthcare, but usually, I can be found sitting behind the wheel of a big yellow school bus. I love to write, though there seems to be some missing connection between my thoughts and the ability of my fingers to put those thoughts on paper, or the screen in this case.
