Having One Of Those Weeks

Did you ever have a day where you know you should have just stayed in bed and pulled the covers up over your head?  Well I am having one of those days multiplied by 4 or probably 5.  OK it’s the whole week.  It has been horrible from the get go and shows only a glimmer of hope that Friday will be saved.

That was how this post started on Thursday. That is also as far as it got on Thursday and Friday.  I had no time to finish either day.  So here I sit on a Saturday morning having little luck finishing my thoughts about the long, cold, grueling week.

Unruly students, disrespectful teenagers who think I am a joke, empathy for a non-problem student whose life is going through some major changes just start the list.  Add in a bus that became very temperamental and refused to move, frigid cold temps and a brand new replacement bus whose heating system could not keep up with the cold.  They are all such great fun that you can’t have just one. The unspoken rule seems to be they must all fall in the same week.

It makes 4:30 on a Friday a God send.  It it the light shining bright at the end of the tunnel and it is the goal that I drove towards.  I did make it in one piece as did all the students, non-problem, unruly, and disrespectful alike. everyone made it home for the weekend to rest, refresh, and rearm, for a Monday morning.

Is it June yet?

About ramblinann

I live in Massachusetts and always have. I sell healthy holistic pet food as an independant rep with Life's Abundance. That is done mostly from home on my computer. When I'm not working for myself with the pet food, I am sitting behind the wheel of a big yellow school bus.
